Question 1

How does CycleProof pricing work, and where does the CE course fee fit?

Accepted Answer

CycleProof is sold as a per-seat monthly subscription, separate from any course fee. There are three tiers: Starter at $79 per seat per month for a single shop with up to 10 technicians, Growth at $199 per seat per month for multi-shop or multi-state teams with up to 50 seats, and a custom Enterprise tier for unlimited technicians and audit-ready operations. Each tier is the platform subscription — it covers the live dashboard, renewal alerts, state-by-state CE rules, and roster management.

The CE courses themselves are not priced by CycleProof. When a technician needs hours, we surface state-approved courses from accredited providers, and each course is billed as a one-time per-seat fee directly by that provider. CycleProof does not mark up CE hours — the provider relationship and the per-course fee stay between you and the provider. See the pricing page for a side-by-side comparison.

Question 2

How is my technician and license data stored and protected?

Accepted Answer

Roster and license data live in a managed database with strict per-account isolation. Every query in the platform is scoped to the signed-in user and their company — no technician, license record, or reminder ever crosses company boundaries. There are no shared passwords, no custom admin cookies, and no hand-rolled session handling; authentication is delegated entirely to a hardened, framework-managed auth layer.

Because CycleProof is a focused tracking product, the data surface is narrow on purpose: the fields a technician needs to stay compliant (name, role, license, trade, state, renewal date, and CE hours), and nothing more. Sensitive credentials and payment details are never stored alongside your roster data.

Question 3

Are the CE courses accredited, and what is CycleProof’s role?

Accepted Answer

CycleProof does not sell, create, or accredit CE courses — accredited providers do. Each course surfaced in the catalog is offered by an independent, state-approved provider, and the final enrollment, fee, and certificate are issued by that provider. CycleProof’s role is to keep your team compliant: tracking CE hours, mapping each technician to the rules for their trade and state, flagging gaps, and getting you to the right course when hours are short.

Because CE rules and approved-provider lists change at the state level, always verify that a specific course, provider, and hour count are accepted by your state licensing board before relying on them. CycleProof is a tracking and reminder tool, not a substitute for board-verified guidance.

Question 4

How long does it take to get up and running after signup?

Accepted Answer

Most teams are fully operational within an afternoon. CycleProof is sold direct, not via self-serve, so the first step is a short walkthrough with the team that builds it — not a blank signup wizard. During that call we map your trades, states, and renewal cycles, so the platform reflects how your operation actually runs.

After the walkthrough we import your roster, tag each technician with their trade and primary working state, and let the CE rules engine attach the right requirements automatically. Once the roster is in, renewal alerts, deadline reminders, and course links start working on the same day — there is no separate “go-live” step.

Question 5

Which states does CycleProof cover today, and what is the 50-state plan?

Accepted Answer

Today CycleProof runs on a state-by-state CE rules engine that covers electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers across a growing set of states, with additional trades (insurance, real estate, general contractors, nursing, OSHA safety) rolling out over time. The current set of covered (trade, state) combinations is published in the public CE Requirements directory at /states, so you can confirm coverage for your team before signing up.

The product roadmap is a 50-state expansion layered on top of that rules engine: as new states are added, they land directly in the directory and in the platform without any customer-side work. New states are prioritized based on customer demand and rule clarity rather than a fixed calendar, so we don’t commit to specific launch dates — the directory is the live source of truth for what is supported today.
